Your commission will include

  • A Personalized Product

    The purpose of a commissioned work is to bring a one of a kind piece of artwork to life that will suit your personalized needs or wants.

  • A Mid-Point Check-In

    A commissioned painting has two goals: one goal is for me to recreate a picture or idea with my painting style and the other is for you to love the result. A mid-point check-in helps to ensure that both of those goals are being met.

  • Helpful Communication

    It is important to me that you feel comfortable with the commission process. For that reason, I start with the commission request form (questions about your vision located below), check-in with you on progress, and set a clear and firm timeline so you know what to expect in our Commission Agreement.

Commission Timeline:

  1. Complete Commission Request

  2. Receive email from Rachel

  3. Submit photo or other items needed

  4. Complete the Commission Agreement outlining mid-point check-in dates and a completion date

  5. Pay 50% deposit

  6. Rachel will begin painting & touch base at the mid-point check-in

  7. Painting will be completed

  8. You will be contacted by Rachel & final payment will be made

  9. Your painting will be shipped/delivered/picked-up

For commissions, a 50% deposit is required to start; the other 50% is paid upon completion prior to shipping or delivery. Completing the request does not require a deposit; it is only a starting point. The deposit will be required once the Commission Agreement has been established.

Please note that Rachel Cook Creative retains all copyright privileges of the original painting, including the right to create reproductions of the painting and use images of the painting for marketing purposes.
